Commercial catering equipment supplier, rexmartins Limited, has launched an extensive collection of gas and electric ranges and boiling tops as part of its heavy duty 700 Series prime cooking equipment. The new products offer high power and heavy-duty construction at a modest price level.

The products are manufactured from stainless steel, with 1.2mm grade 304 hobs. They are easy to clean and keep clean with scratch-resistant and dishwasher-proof removable castings for pan supports and flue gratings. Ease of maintenance also features strongly with easily accessible components, such as thermocouples and pilots.

The gas range includes solid top and open burner designs, with a choice of built-in ovens or cupboards. The open burner models feature powerful 6.5kW nickel-coated burners in single, two, four and six-burner configurations and are also available as counter top models. The standard 6kW gas oven accepts 2 x GN2/1 gastronorm dishes, while the cavernous 10kW maxi oven, available as an alternative in six-burner models, measures 970mm wide and offers even greater capacity.

Electric versions are offered in two and four-plate configurations, again with the option of counter top or floor-standing models, the latter being available with either cupboards or ovens.

Commercial Director, Nick McDonald commented: “Our 700 Series ranges and boiling tops are seriously heavy-duty items of equipment, and we have been greatly encouraged by the positive feedback from dealers and end users who have seen and trialled the equipment. It’s good to have a well-priced heavy duty range to offer to dealers as a viable alternative to the existing brands in the market.”
